The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) is a federal public administration entity, linked to the Ministry of Planning, Budget, and Management. It is the main provider of data and information in the country, meeting the needs of various segments of civil society, as well as federal, state, and municipal government agencies. The IBGE is responsible for Social and Demographic Statistics, Agriculture Statistics, Economic Statistics, Price Indexes, National Account System, Brazilian Geodetic System, Geographical Mapping, Topographic and Municipal Mapping, Territorial Structures, Natural Resources and Environment, Geographic Information, among other studies. The purpose of the application is to disseminate economic indicators, census data, price indexes, and news on the institution's activities to Brazilian citizens.
